Breaking into the PC hardware industry is not easy. In our opinion, ID-Cooling has done a great job and is going to be around for a long time. By the looks and performance of their product; They have two winners in the SE-204K and the SE-214X. ID-Cooling certainly is not breaking any cooling records with these products but they put a lot of thought into them and engineered two real slick looking air coolers for your PC.

The design aspect of the NO-12025 is quite nice and it is easy to tell a lot of thought went into it. The anti-vibration dampeners are a nice touch and it’s also nice to see they come in different colours depending on the exact model you get. The fan blades are also specifically crafted and have a unique design to help them be less resistant and allow for the best airflow possible. Lastly, it is nice to see they come in different models allowing users to have more choices is also a plus in my book, especially when products come in a non-LED version and then also offer other models with different colour LEDs in them, nice touch!

Performance was on par with similar sized (and price) coolers. The SE-204K is a nice jump beyond OEM cooling, but still a sizable notch below the larger dual tower coolers with 140mm fans, and that is no surprise. For daily use in a mild gaming rig, this cooler will be right at home. If you really overclock and frequently load your system, you may want to look at a larger capacity cooler.

ID-Cooling really should be considered for any of your SFF needs, they have bought out some great products. And these coolers really took me by surprise, for the price? You certainly get huge amounts of performance, but not only that. Id-cooling have bought out these coolers built for function. By this I mean they perform incredibly well in the scenarios that they will be used. Sometimes products can be over engineered and veer away from what I’d consider crucial design points. Both of these coolers keep temperatures within reasonable levels however the IS-60 provides near silence, and the IS-40 provides great cooling in situations that require the finesse of a smaller cooler. There isn’t much more I can say, other than it was enjoyable to see such great products for such a low cost. I wanted to review these together as they are really opposite ends of the SFF cooler spectrum, one is designed to be small. And the other is a large cooler designed for quiet operating. It’s a nice comparison to show you the difference, and if it was my money. I’d consider either of them depending on the case.

ID-Cooling is a relatively young thermal solutions brand, founded in 2013 by several veterans of the computer industry in Shenzhen, China. The parent company, Shenzhen Wan Jing Hua Technology Co., Ltd. has been around over a decade though and holds a couple interesting patents, in particular WO2014107939 A1 for a hybrid vapour chamber / vertical heatpipe device. Overall, the ID-Cooling T60-SFX is certainly a nifty little chassis, which has turned plenty of heads when it was announced. For the price it clocks in at, it may be a bit too simple for some, which is also the reason it did not end up getting an award. But those who want the tiniest gaming system money can buy should certainly take a look at the T60-SFX as there is very little out there to pit it against when it comes to size.

ID-COOLING SE-204K has a physical design like a heatsink products that are in high-end class that has a built premium quality. This is evident from the materials used in the fin heatsink that feels hard and solid, and coupled with the whole body of the heatsink which is coated with a layer of chrome. In addition to having a physical design that is quite luxurious for its class, SE-204K heatsink even this also has the ability to relatively good cooling performance.

The overall looks of ID-Cooling's NO-12025 is certainly appealing for those that like LED lighted fans that looks unique. I like the fact that it doesn't look like a common LED lighted chassis fan. The build-in anti-vibration rubber in the fan's chassis is ingenious. It is very effective in dampening noise and avoid unnecessary vibration in the entire computer setup as a whole. I find the fan quieter than typical case fans. Noise levels is indeed right around the written specifications.
